Introduction

This is my first blog posting for my new blog, and brain child. Painting Donations.

You may not know much about me, or about what it is that I'm doing writing this all out. So I figured I should give one and all an introduction to both me and my little idea.

First off I should let you know about this, about Painting Donations.

Painting Donations is a small group that I created a few months back with the sole premise of doing more. It utilizes my love for painting and animals in a productive way to ensure that more donations are contributed to non profits.

Painting Donations was created to help, and help so far it has. My goal here is to help these non profits raise funds and raise awareness, so that everyone can make informed decisions about donating and who to donate to.
So far in real life Painting Donations has been a success raising well over 150$ for various non profit organizations both locally and internationally. But through the online world is where I seem to struggle. Which is where this is coming in. By informing people of each painting, their price and who they will benefit, I hope that this information will help stop my online hiccup.

Currently my brain child has two series currently. One is my Endangered Series, a series of paintings that represent an endangered animal. Whether it's a big cat, or a small mouse, to frogs, and fish. Each animal represented in a painting will be linked to a non profit that represents the animal in some way. Some paintings will be linked towards sanctuaries, some towards habitat preservation or breeding programs. Whatever program that helps benefit that particular species in some way.

My second series that I'm in the midst of getting a hold of is my Domestic Series, which features a number of domestic pets. These paintings will help support shelters, health programs, food services and spay and neuter services. Each group that is tied with each painting will be featured in the blog to inform you of what services this painting will support. So hopefully one won't be too finicky on the spay and neuter supported paintings.

Remember too that all profits that means 100% of all money made will go towards that non profit. This is something that I love to do and what I hope to continue to do. I love philanthropy, and I love assisting groups in whatever way I can, so profit honestly doesn't mean much to me. This is just a well love
d and cultured hobby of mine, outside of this well let's just say there's not much of a social life and I like it that way.

Now that you know about my little baby of a plan I think I'll introduce you to myself.

My name is Amanda, I'm 24 years old and the blogger, writer and well rounded creator of my other blog, A Life Through Donations. I love to be informative and make logical decisions upon what I've learned and what I know. Which is why I've created these two blogs and numerous other things.

I've made a Google + account for A Life Through Donations. Which is sort of a mixed mish mash of these two groups.
I've created a Facebook page for A Life Through Donations. Again mish mash.
Twitter.
and an Etsy shop.

I've been busy to say the least. But still not all that great with technology, or really this whole communication thing. Which is why it seems like the blog is practice. It's like public speaking without needing to really speak to the public. So no sweaty palms and stuttering.

Anyways, momentum. I'm 24 and I started my first blog several months ago with the idea that each paycheck I donate a certain amount of money to a non profit. This non profit I review and look over to ensure that my money is put to good use. I scrutinize, and look at everything that I can, sometimes researching a place for weeks to ensure that my money and maybe your money is going into the right hands.

So here's somethings to know about me.

- My favorite color is blue.
- Pandas are my favorite animals, second are tigers.
- I love painting mostly birds, cats of all kinds and wolves.
- I love spaghetti.
- I love Astronomy.
- I don't affiliate myself with a political group. No, just...no.
- In real life I'm rather anti-social, and I'm ok with it.
- I wish to someday see the world and have a thing or two to tell about it.
- I went to my first zoo and aquarium this year...I know 24 years and I finally see a zoo and aquarium. But I'm making up for it.

So this is my project, my blog and me. If you have any questions feel free to let me know. Until then, have a good day.

- Amanda.
